Amazon:

So I'm hooked! It all started in 2011 when I was pregnant & a friend got me to use Amazon Mom for my diapers & wipes... Then it turned into saving trips to Walmart & Target by using Amazon Subscribe & Save... Then we use the Amazon Wish List for birthday & Christmas shopping in my family... And lastly, we use Amazon Prime to watch our favorite TV shows & movies. So you could say I'm hooked! I order everything I can from Amazon, have it in 2 days, free shipping & save a ton! I love getting emails everyday as well for the deals of the day.

Mary Kay Make-up:

Yes, I have to admit I thought of the 80's & 90's when my Grandma sold Mary Kay... I was hesitant... I was a Bare Minerals girl at Ulta... But I tried it & I'll never go back... Not is all of their products natural, safe & not tested is any crazy way it's a personal experience... I don't have to go anywhere to get my make-up. My lady drops it off to my doorstep every time I text her my order. She gives me samples of things to try & when the seasons change she tests my color again to make sure I have the perfect match. Mary Kay has never made me break out either. I love it! I especially love their hand and lip care as well!

Chalkboard Markers:

I have a chalkboard fetish... I love to decorate chalkboards around my home! It is a favorite of mine & now all of my friends know too! Chalkboard markers have changed the way I create my personalized boards. I like to use the brand: Chalk Ink. I order them from Amazon as well. Another tip, use a magic eraser when cleaning your chalkboard.

New & Old Holiday Traditions:

My daughter is 3 for Christmas this year & I thought it was a perfect time to start this new holiday tradition I've been wanting to do. She gets to "unwrap a gift" each night until Christmas. She is loving it! After Christmas last year I used my Scholastic points & also paid for 25 Christmas books. I went the paperback route because they are less expensive. I love the idea of building a home library as an advent calendar type of thing. Next year I'm thinking Mercer Mayer or Berenstain Bears!

Last year when my daughter was 2 for Christmas she got her own Christmas tree in her room. My mom had one in my room growing up & I loved it. I slept with the lights on every night & so does my daughter. Santa will put a gift under that tree for her too!
