I'm back again for some Monday Linky parties & more!
Today marks the teachers 3rd week back at school & the students 2nd week back at school. I feel like I can't breathe I've been so busy, but the start of this school year has been AWESOME! The teachers & students are doing so great & we are all in the "honeymoon" stage so to speak. Everything has gone really well & I love my school!
So anyhow, let's get started!

August Close Reads
As you saw above, this product is my "Monday Markdown" for the week! It's brand new & comes complete with lots of labor & love!!! It is the first in a series I will be making this school year. I can't wait to dig into these with my own students!!! I am so ready:-) This pack comes complete with 4 Informational Text Topics that vary on lexile levels for grades 2-5. There are activities for each standard & extra activities as well. Everything you need for the entire month! As you can see below, this month's theme in Plants & Flowers. Each month I will have a different theme. These can be used for on level reading, instructional reading or as complex reading passages. I use them in small groups but they can be used in whole groups as well. Be sure to read all about them & check out my preview file {HERE}.

Set up your bulletin board as usual...
Grab some bulletin board paper {aka butcher paper} & cut strips as evenly as possible... I failed at that... Ha ha... You can cut either way horizontal or vertical, you'll need a lot of strips...
Now, scrunch it, crumble it, wad it all up, however you want to say it...
You make it like an accordion fold so to speak, stapling it as you go...
And there you go!
