Written Comprehension:
So a few weeks ago I posted about practicing written comprehension, using accountable talk & having a visual for students. You can read about it HERE or HERE!
Well looky, looky.... It's really working!!!!!!!!!!! We started with having text conversations with the sentence frames, then a little writing & now they are really writing! They need to use the frames still, but I am hoping that come May I can start taking them down & see if they can do this on their own. But they are writing & saying: "I think", "because", "the author stated", "the text said", "in the text", "I infer" and so on... Proud!
(these are slides from my PowerPoint presentation I will be using tomorrow at a conference)

Hi Dianna! I have tried Stitch Fix. I did enjoy getting that box every month, but I found that the clothes were too fancy for my job (STEM lab). However, I think I could request a change in style. I will use your link if I decide to try again!
